I have an MSI GT70 for 4 years now. Works fine but its motherboard died adter 1.5 years, the adaptor died after 2 years .. Total cost of repairs was around 250 dollars on a 1600 dollar laptop which was bought 4 years ago.

I currently use a desktop and only passively use the laptop. If you don't have or need to game on the move, don't buy a gaming laptop. And its not up-gradable either except HDD and RAM.

I am selling optical drive and other replacement parts for laptops. My Customers always give a very high opinion on Dell Alienware. You can think about it.
Buy the way, if you need blu-ray or DVD external optical drive, you may find many cheaps in the site www.eeshops.net as a reference.

Lenovo has the y720 for 1279.99 if you add the rfd discount code for boxing day. Seems to be the cheapest laptop I've found with a gtx 1060 and an I7 processor. Only 8gb of ram though.

We had a difficult time choosing

by thebestgamingmonitor In reply to best gaming laptop

We had a difficult time choosing between the wealth of decent 144 hz monitors out there. So much choice. Whilst this asus 144hz monitor was clearly worth an award, even though it’s similarly priced, we just feel for that little extra cash, https://thebestgamingmonitor.com/benq-xl2411z
