Best Photo Imaging Software

By musikangel ·
Hi Everybody -

After doing some investigating on PhotoSuite, I think that the best move now, is to look into other Photo Imaging Software, and am asking all of you what do you think is the best?

I need something simple, reliable, and not too complex to use.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks In Advance...

Musikangel

Well, you can spend nearly as much time testing imaging software as learning it.

The 'best' software depends on what you want to do.

Photo Suite works well for printing photo packages.

Adobe Photoshop Elements is a much better image editor.

I like Photo Impact from U-Lead for a lot of tasks:

Arcsoft Image Suite is my preferred package for pixel by pixel editing.

Paint Shop from Jasc Software is well rated.

Adobe Photoshop also comes in a condensed version called Photoshop Elements (definitely an excellent package!) for easier use. It has the same powerful effects as Photoshop but they are simplified so that you don't have to manually configure the effects and tasks.
Photoshop also has a VERY unique tool called HEAL, for touch up of blemishes and wrinkles with ease.

You can download a demo and test it all out at
http://tinyurl.com/vweh $99.000 US and worth every single penny!

I'd say yay for Ulead for creating REALLY cool effects with ease but Adobe Photoshop Elements is the cats ***. (Note, I didn't care for Adobe Photoshop because I have other software that's just as robust but Photoshop Elements is REALLY cool!)

Sorry Chas, you'd already said all that! I just glanced and thought you were recommending the full Photoshop.
