Okay, this won't be easy! This past week I decided to reformat my main drive due to unexpected crashing. I had two drives in the system, main drive 120 Gig and the backup 200 Gig. I used the 200 Gig to backup my files from the 120 Gig. Well, the reformat went well along with installing my core applications. I created a clean image so the if I needed to start over down the line, I could just start there. Anyway, that image was also placed on the 200 Gig.
Then the worst case senario happened, drive failure on the 200 Gig due to fan failure, overheating.
My question is what software products are available that may help me recover my data from this drive prior to reformating it? Anyone have a process that may work for me?
