Nobody yet knows what phones will be introduced the remaining 11 months of 2024. So you question can’t be answered.

Moreover, it depends on what you want to do with it. Some phones are better in this, others are better in that. That’s the second reason your question can’t be answered.

The best phone in 2024 is “subjective” and too early so far to predict. Personally, I’ll stick with last year’s Samsung Galaxy Ultra 23. It suits my needs just fine and unless it was lost or broken, I have no need to replace it. Will the Samsung Galaxy Ultra 24 be even better? Still too early to predict, but I really don’t care and I can’t afford to replace my current phone at this time anyhow.

In my opinion, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is definitely a top contender for the best smartphone in 2024.

While you might feel the iPhone 15 Pro Max may be the best smart phone for 2024, there are almost 10 months left in the year and it is impossible to accurately preditct this yet. I could argue that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the best, but I am only speculating based on my current knowledge like you. I currently use the S23 Ultra and I am very satisified. Neither one of us is definitively right or wrong, we have differing opinions. There could be a breakthrough device from another manufacturer that proves both of us are wrong, but there’s plenty of time to come with a certifiable conclusion either way. I am just saying, time will tell which turns out to be the best by the end of December.
