Presently acting as IT Head for an American affiliate College, need to work on a DEVELOPMENT TEAM for the college that will be doing the “software development”.
We have around 600 students, mostly 40% opts for PROGRAMMING / SOFTWARE ENGG major.
Looking at the market conditions…should I start with some basic application…
eg. Accounting system, Ticketing system, Payroll system, Inventory system…
to have some off-the-shelf apps for the clients…
We have students with good skills on VB, Web based Technology, Java & Database.
I need feedback from the IT Managers who are well versed with the software industry as to HOW SHOULD I “KICK OFF” WITH MY SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAM.
You will be helping to build future of many young aspirants…
