Here is the scenario. Client comes in with a system with a BIOStar P4M800-M7 that he flashed with the BIOS for a P4M800-Pro M7. All that he gets is the BIOStar screen when it boots. That tells me that he mobo is good, so we get a replacement BIOS chip flashed with the right version of the BIOS (that is an assumption that it is the right one, I have no way of verifying). When I put the new chip in, I get power and POST, but no video. Tried taking out the AGP card and working solely on the on-board card, and have reset the CMOS a couple of times to no avail. Any thoughts? As you may have guessed, I am suspect of the chip, but without anyway to verify one way or the other, I am wondering if I should go another direction.
