    Bitlocker encrypted drive…freezing

    I have encrypted my laptop Drive e using bitlocker….but because of some issue the process of encryption stuck at half way….now…the problem is….when…I open drive e using the key…..my PC freezes …..and I can’t do anything on it …
    Any one who can help..

      Go back to your unencrypted backup and try again. It might be helpful if you can find out what exactly that “some issue” was, so you can prevent it from happening again.

      Anyone that encrypts drives knows to keep a full unencrypted backup.

      What I want to add is that we see a lot of cranky or failing Hard Disk Drives. Maybe in time we’ll start to see more failing SSDs but for now, just one in almost a decade.

      If you didn’t make that backup, this is when most folk learn that lesson first hand. If you are about to lose all your data the next stop are shops/services like drivesavers.com
