The marketing department wants to use our primary domain name in a marketing email campaign via an online marketing software package. This sounds like a bad idea and a risk at getting our domain blacklisted. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Should we use a different domain? Perhaps a “sent on behalf” address, etc?
