Blue screen at startup of Terminal Serve

By Kevin B ·
When I start up it goes into a blue screen. When I start up with startup diskettes it goes to a blue screen on disk 2 before I can choose any repair problem. Any ideas are welcomed.

I've seen this on a Compaq with more than 1 Gb of RAM. Try to remove some RAM and run repair.

It would be helpful to know what your hardware platform is. Like Dmitri, I've seen this problem on Compaq platforms but with mismatched memory modules (the specific error message was something like "pfn_list_corrupt").

Is there any information on the blue screen or does it just plain lock up? If you can share a little more information, you'll probably get a better answer.

regards!
