I noticed that when I first installed vista that it works fine. When I allowed SP2 to be installed it imediately caused the problem. So I said to myself uninstall the service pack and I did. Since I have done that and not allowed any more installs my computer has worked great. This was all after reinstalling XP on a new HD and then reinstalling the Vista Home Premium. Also after buying an HP recovery disc kit. Does anyone have any answers to this problem? The only other thing I can tell you is that the BSD was a 9f.
