Bluetooth device on MSI GS75 Stealth has stopped working. CODE 45.

Yesterday my bluetooth devices stopped communicating with my laptop.
MSI GS75 Stealth. Windows 10 Home.
The Bluetooth device was not visible in the device manager. Click view>hidden devices= Now I can see it.

General tab:
Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

Events Tab:
Device BTH\MS_RFCOMM\6&22cbd141&0&0 requires further installation.

I think this must mean that the Bluetooth device inside my laptop has ceased to function and needs to be replaced.
Do y’all think that is correct? And if yes, any recommendation on source and a how-to manual for the job?

– Select Device Manager by pressing the Windows logo key and X at the same time.
-Locate the device that is giving you Code 45 in the Device Manager window.
– Select Uninstall device from the context menu when you right-click on that device entry.
– Select Delete the driver software for this device from the drop-down menu and click Uninstall (if required for confirmation).
– In Device Manager, select Scan for Hardware Changes from the Action menu bar. This should clean up the system before reinstalling the device and its driver.
– Restart your computer and visit Device Manager to see if the Code 45 problem has been resolved.

Only MSI customer support or a repair shop can tell you what part you need and how to replace it, if it is possible. Most likely it’s soldered to the motherboard and can’t be easily replaced.

The common solution is to use a Bluetooth dongle in one of your USB-ports. That’s something you can do yourself.
