Bootable CD or Equivilent SATA Controller Support

by kwillson . Updated 17 years, 3 months ago

In past I’ve used DOS bootable or CD bootable devices to boot a computer within a DOS prompt while running utilities like Ghost. These PC’s were all ATA.

Today’s PC/Laptop are different as they have SATA Hard Drives / Controllers. These same bootable DOS disks/CD/USB do not load SATA drivers.

Question- Where can I get a DOS CD Bootable Image to provide support for SATA Controllers / Drives so I may run Ghost or other utilities from DOS prompt?

Thanks!
