How do you create discussion groups or bulletin boards in Exchange/Outlook? I want to know the really professional way of doing it.

You'll want to create a Public Folder out there for who ever takes part in the discussion. Give them appropriate permissions for viewing the folder and creating items. I make the initial view on the Public Folder "Group by Conversation Topic".

If you do want to use exchange then answer 1 is all you need, however if you want a Discussion group in the true sense then why not use IIS4 to setup a NEWS server and use Outlook as the news client. A news group (in my opinion) makes it so much easier to follow threads. Pehaps something else to consider if you havent already.
