BUSH IS IN BED WITH BIG BUSINESS

    Locked

    by marbib ·

We have to do something about this. We cant let politicians take advantage of our ignorance and we cant let corporations make us their bitches.
To many politicians manipulate us and get elected solely with name recognition (Arnold and Bush). Everyone needs to weed out these a-holes and vote in some real leaders.

Have his way with you for one night and then never call? I’m not a fan of Bush or any politician since they are all corrupt in my opinion and will never make a difference since there is no money in it for them to do the job. I take it since you dont like Bush do you like Dick? Hehehe man I’m bored at work today.

What, do run a Netware shop

What do run a Netware shop? MS would keep you busier than that.

The BUSH/DICK reference is an indication of someone who’s mind hasn’t JUSt started to wander but one that has gone awol at 9AM (yesterday).

You had the whole day to just sit and let your brain frazzle and then came up with the Bush/Dick comment. I like it, especially when you can do that for days on end. An idle brain is one that’ll last longer than the rest.

      >>We have to do something about this.

Ok do you have a plan?

      >>We cant let politicians take advantage of our ignorance

If somebody is ignorant they are for sure going to be taken for a ride. So the ignorants need to get well informed.

      >>and we cant let corporations make us their bitches.

bitches = female dog…I did not know the corporations had the technology to make humans into female dogs. I have a friend and like to see him transformed into one though 🙂

      >>To many politicians manipulate us and get elected solely with name recognition….

I thought a person’s name need to be recognizbale in order to cast vote on the ballot. If the candidate is not recognizable why would somebody vote. Maybe the ignorants might…..

      >>Everyone needs to weed out these a-holes and vote in some real leaders.

      Like?

      Too late, sorry.
In fact it’s so late that now everyone hangs on every word the good ole pressie says and follows his leadership with pride and their clouded heads held high. Almost like visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, except deadlier.

      Voters’ apathy …

In Australia votoing is compulsory at all levels of government: Federal, State and Local. However one is merely required to register at a polling place on voting day. Those who do not wish to participate merely need to cast an informal vote.

Despite this voluntary/compulsory voting, the vast majority of Australians choose to cast a formal vote. Compare with the relatively low percentage of Americans who bother to vote, this would suggest to me that the average Australian is far more interested in participating in the choice of politicians than the average Americans.

Is this your answer perhaps? Americans get inferior quality leaders because they are just too lazy to accept the responsibility of making a considered choice?

I believe I have heard it said that people get the government they deserve. So if you’re not happy with the current administration, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT !

Join a political party; join a lobby group; walk the streets with a sandwich-board; ring up talk-back radio stations and state you views; do whatever you like, but get involved. Whingeing will not improve the quality of government.

And has it taken you this long to realise that big money rules the world anyway? Politicians are merely puppets dangling helplessly from the hands of money moguls.
