Bush Traumatizes Pink Flamingos

Well, they may not have been pink, but they sure were traumatized, at least according to officials at Buckingham Palace. The flamingos are thought to be so traumatized after being taken to a “place of safety” that they might never return home.

THE Queen is furious with President George W. Bush after his state visit caused thousands of pounds of damage to her gardens at Buckingham Palace. How could he have stooped so low, she must wonder. Not only the flamingo thing, but some roses, flowers and shrubs were damaged, and some are even thought to be rare varieties named after members of the Royal Family and planted by the Queen Mother and Queen. It’s sacrilege, I say, sacrilege. The Palace’s head gardener, Mark Lane, was reported to be in tears when he saw the scale of the damage. The poor man should be awarded a medal – a BRONZE STAR perhaps. (They’re real cheap now-a-days.)

Could it be that Bush knew about this beforehand and is in the midst of a massive cover-up? I think there should be a Congressional Investigation into thing.

Iraq and terrorism step aside. who cares about world affairs and the economy? Starving children be damned! We’re talking about pink flamingos, here!! Geesh.
