I have an Arris TM228 cable modem, Net Gear WNDR3700-100NA router and Net Gear FS116 (no E) LAN switch. If I hook modem to router and router to server I can get internet only on the server not to other computers on the network. If I hook modem to router, router to LAN switch and server to LAN switch I can't get internet on anything. If I use existing AT&T modem/router in one hooked to LAN switch everyone has internet. I have tried every configuration of cable to switch hook ups I can find and nothing works. The cable company says since it works when hooked directly to server it is something on my end and they aren't responsible. I have been working on this for 3 days. I am computer literate and can do a lot of things but don't have much knowledge of networks and switches.
The Server Windows IP Configuration when AT&T Modem is connected is:

Can anyone give me guidance? PLEASE

I have seen many setups that just refuse to work, swap out with a diffferent mfgr may give you results. I had the same fault with a cisco setup and changed to LinkSys and it worked fine. Some routers require setup from a wired CAT5 port.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
