Cache mode enforcement - E2003 SP2

By jtorrieri ·
I have recently downloaded and installed Exchange 2003 SP2 in our lab environment. I am interested in the Cache mode enforcement feature as mentioned in the docs. However, I can not find anything that explains how this works or how to turn it on. Has anyone had any luck?
We would love to have the ability to force all Outlook clients in cached mode.

Hi. I have the same problem. It is supposed to be in the help but can?t find it. I have tried all the sites and can?t find a thing but that it is there but no how-to, or even an indication on where to find it.

I even went thru the settings on exchange and can?t find a thing.

Maybe you can do it thru a policy will have to look.

If anyone finds a solution please let us know.

Thanks

Exchange Server 2003 SP2 adds functionality to enable administrators to completely turn off MAPI access for a given user, or to grant access to a user whose Microsoft Office Outlook is configured for cached mode, but to deny access otherwise.

Hope this helps...
