Calendar in Outlook – forcing entries

Is there a clever way to be able to book a meeting with someone via the Calendar part of Outlook 2k / Exchange 2k, but not for them to be sent an email asking them to confirm. I just want the entry to go stright into their calendar.

This is needed so that I can then sync a number of users calendars via Pocket Mirror Pro / Hot Sync onto a Palm.
