Calendar reminders don't work

I'm using Office XP and the reminders in the calendar don't work. If you make an entry on the calendar and have the reminder box checked a window usually pops up to tell you about your appointment but this doesn't work on one of my PC's. Any idea how to fix this?

have you tried the clean reminders switch?

Run this from the Start>Run box:

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe" /cleanreminders

Make sure you change the path to match your installation directory. You can simply search for Outlook.exe

that command should be

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe" /cleanreminders

I omitted the leading quote.
