Can i playback just media from games?

IS THERE A PLAYER OR PROGRAM THAT WOULD ALLOW ME TO TAKE A GAME WITH GREAT MEDIA IN IT 'LIKE MYST', AND LET ME
WATCH/HEAR all available media WITHOUT PLAYING GAME? LOVE ANIMATION, BUT i'm NOT A GAME PLAYER! i run xp prof.with p3 800mHz. any pointers would be appreciated...

On your CD look for files with extensions as *.wav, *.mp3, *.wmp, etc.
To play use e.g. Microsoft Media Player or WinAmp - easy to download and free.

Try downloading Microsoft Windows Media Player version 7.

Many programs use propreitry (not sure how to spell it...) formats for their video, so the file extension searching tip may not work, however for your computer to view the animations, it must have a suitable codec installed, so I suggest tracking down a file which you think may have what you are looking for and changing its file extension to .avi or .mpg for example. I'm not sure if it will work, but I think it's your best chance. Good luck.
