Can i use a javascript animation to resize vertically or to the left?

By TheYuuki ·
I have a page that i want to put 2 menus on. They will be in the main body side-by-side. Im trying to use Javascript to actually fill in the content by resizing the "link" areas (actually div's) using animations. Im having an issue trying to tell it to stretch the div vertically and to the left. Any insight or advice is appreciated.

Thanks

In general, I would guess that the animation functionality is somewhat limited in what it can do, so you would need to just add code to manipulate the div elements. But I could be wrong.

The z-index stuff can be tricky, depending on how many elements there are and whether things are positioned absolutely or relatively.
