    Can this type of wires transfer a data?

    Can this type of wires (AC DC laptop charger jack) transfer a binary code (kind of handshake with charger and laptop)?

      That looks like the usual Dell 3 wire setup. I can’t guess why you didn’t tell more.
      Two wires are for power, the other is to talk with the charger to determine it’s capabilities.
