is that really true? you can't be tracked if you use a VPN. VPNs hide your web traffic and activity and replace your real IP address with a stand-in. (link removed by moderator)

Can you be tracked if you use a VPN?

by stedler56 In reply to Can you be tracked if you ...

Using a VPN alone won't stop people trying to track individual on-line activities. A VPN can encrypt the traffic from your computer to the VPN escape site.

But what prevents you is anyone who wants to look at your network traffic if they sit between you and your VPN provider (for example, a properly designed VPN can prevent anyone on the same network.)

Also, you need to buy the right vpn for your security.

if you want i can suggest you some.

VPN is safe

Usually, VPNs are untrackable, but if the government of the country you are operating from can somehow bypass any VPN, but this happens in the cases where you are doing something illegal. If you are using a VPN to browse and minding, your business nobody can track you down.

If you still have some questions regarding VPN, you can read this

f you use a VPN, your IP address is changed and your online activity is encrypted, so you cannot be tracked. Some internet service providers (ISPs) or websites may know that you're using a VPN, but they can't see your actual online activity. So, you should use a VPN to minimize your chances of being tracked online

No, you cannot be tracked if using a VPN. A VPN create a secure tunnel between you and VPN server in this regards, anyone who will spy on you will see VPN server's IP including your ISP, hence you can't be tracked.

However there is one privacy concern with VPNs and that is VPN provider's privacy policy. Many VPNs keep users' activity logs which then can be shared with third parties and government agencies. Better read complete VPN reviews on authority sites such as,,,, before buying the VPN subscription.

Yes, it is true but......

There hundreds of vpn providers out there in the market to choose from. But you need to make sure to opt for the one that promises no DNS leakage and 256-bit encryption protocols. This is the only way you'll stay hidden over the internet. A minor leakage can reveal your true identity. Also, please stay away from the free ones, as they are useless, they wont help you stay anonymous. Try using Ivacy, not it offers state of the art security but it also offers 2 tb encrypted cloud storage for free.
