Cannot log onto Hotmail

In a peer to peer newtork, using a crossover cable, and running Windows 2000 Professional, one of the computers will not allow log in to Hotmail. All other websites, and e-mail services work; Yahoo, AOL, Juno, etc… but we cannot log in to our Hotmail accounts on the second computer. Both have the same operating system, just recently clean-installed, and both operate on an administrator account. We use a satellite modem, as we are in a rural area.

Any suggestions?
