Cannot open email attachements sent with Netscape

Several recipients of emails sent with Netscape Mail client are not able to open the attachments. The attachments are seen as text in the message body.

However, the same recipients don’t have any problem for opening the same attachments sent with Opera mail client.

What is the difference in attachments sent by Opera and Netscape?

This has been tested by sending mail from different computers.
