cannot send or recieve to certain domain

By anthonyfreeman97 ·
We have an error that started about a month ago but no changes were made in our system. We can't recieve or send to a few domains. the error message when we send is:
" The e-mail address could not be found. Perhaps the recipient moved to a different e-mail organization, or there was a mistake in the address. Check the address and try again.
<******.**** #4.1.8 smtp;451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address ****@**** does not resolve>"
We have had an outside source check our dns to make suure there wasn't something we were missing, enabled reverse dns with our isp, checked on "dns stuff" to ensure things are fine.
I guess the question is why a few and not all?
A month is too long and we have run out of options so all help is welcome.

you made sure that SMTP traffic via port 25 can reach the server? e.g. have to open port 25 on a firewall or forward it through the firewall?

did you check your MX address with your actual address?

is your server listed with your domain registrar as authoritative for your domain name? Is UDP/TPC port 53 traffic allowed from the Internet?

just a little question, is the problem confined to those e-mails sent to: This could be the problem. Is the correct e-mail a .com or .au? or both? If the domain register was changed / updated recently, (about the time you started having the problem) you might have to pick one or the other. .au is now in the registry as the same as .com is now. (problem would be the same as
