    Cannot turn off Asus Monitor FPS on Screen Display

    Hello, I have an ASUS Monitor model: 27GL83A-B FPS
    Recently it has been showing the FPS framerate on the right of
    the screen during the use of games.

    I turned off the Nvidia FPS display to make sure that was not it and
    it still will not go away. The only thing else I could think of is that it
    could be the actual ASUS monitor display system, which I have no idea
    how to access since the monitor has only a brightness button and nothing else. Should anyone have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

      It might not be your monitor, but an application/program feature displaying it. Check the game settings for FPS settings next. Which application/program is this happening on?

      You should check the user guide for the monitor to see if there is a way to open the settings directly on your monitor if you cannot find the physical controls/buttons. Best wishes.

      If I Google that number, all I see is for a LG 27GL83A-B monitor. Are you sure it is Asus?

      Once you know the maker, go to their site to see if there’s a manual to download. Usually there is.

      Try another monitor with this PC and try this monitor on another PC.

      If it shows on this monitor on another PC, it’s a monitor setting. If it shows on another monitor on this PC, it’s a setting in the PC.

      Whether you cannot locate the physical controls/buttons on your display, you should consult the user manual to see if there is a way to open the settings directly on your monitor. Good luck.
