I recently installed a Canon PIXMA MP 610 device replacing a Canon I 960 printer. Now half the time I print a document the printer ejects the first page blank, also the first page may have only a few lines of the document or photo, the second page will have 2/3 of the document or photo and the third page usually has the complete document. I am running XP Home and have replaced the USB cable. I did uninstall the old printer before installing the new one. Would re-installing the drivers help? Or is there something else I can do? Do print spoolers ever get hosed up?
