Can't boot a bootable disk on my Toshiba Satellite Pro A205-S5000

I am trying to install XP onto my Toshiba Satellite Pro system but it will boot then and before you get to the setup it says doesn't have enough information but I make sure all my disk are clean and use the lowest burning speed when burning windows CDs or DVDs can someone please suggest something or help me out.

Are you using a COPY of an XP Install Disc ?...

Have you tried using this disc in another computer ?

What exactly do you mean by "it will boot then and before you get to the setup it says doesn't have enough information" ?

Are you saying that the Boot Disc actually DOES boot, but that the install procedure then fails ? What is the actual error message ?

Yes it actually boots then wont go through with the install and I have tried like 10-13 times

We can't see the screen. You need to tell us what the error message says.

That can't be it cause I did the same exact DVD on my desktop and it worked perfectly fine

Unless you have two licenses or removed it from your desktop...

At the store im not that stupid. I buy atleast 2 every year cause I always upgrade my computer so they need new OS software

I copy all of my CDs and most of the cds I get someone how get dirty and scratched up. Sorry I ment to say Vista I'll change that

Is this a retail Vista, or one that came with a system?

If it came with a system (OEM), you can only install it on the system it came with.

Also, try using the original DVD.
