I just upgraded win98 to win2000 pro. and all of a sudden I can,t change proxy settings in internet explorer properties, under the connections tap. It is all greyed out. how can I fix this problem? i was told a clean install of win2000 will do it. Idon’t want to do that. i can not view web pages because I use a dial up connection with aol. I can read email or do anything within AOL but the browser will not pull up any web pages because of this of course.
