I am employing Outlook 97 on a Windows 2000 Pro
client and using Exchange 5.5 on a Windows NT 4 Server.
When I returned to work last Monday, one of our client PC’s was no longer running properly (HP Vectra 400vi PIII 1000MHz 256MB). HW diagnosticsrevealed no hardware failure. I re-installed Windows 2k Pro via an update and slapped on the service pack release 2 for a good measure. Now the pc and all applications are running again, e x c e p t for the Microsoft Exchange services. When I try to connect to the user’s mail box on the Exchange server, I get a message telling me, that the global address book can’t be accessed.
This problem occurs only on this specific pc.
Thanks for any advice!
