Can’t delete Public Folder

by shanna . Updated 23 years, 10 months ago

I am running a new Windows NT 4.0, SP6 Exchange 5.5 server. Prior to my hiring, a consultant set up a temporary public folder on our old email server and then configured the new server and migrated the public folders to the new, current server.

The problem is now that we no longer need the temporary folder, it’s not allowing me to delete it. It’s saying that the contents of the folder are not visible and unavailable. It appears the folder didn’t migrate to the new server properly, and it’s still pointing to the old server.

Any help on deleting the folder would be much appreciated.
