downloads or updates (either automatic or manual) works. I get this error message:C:\…file xyz could not be saved because the source file could not be read. This is the case when i try to download a file from any web site like tech republic, etc. Generally when I want to downlod a program update, say A/V program no problem. I think that during one of my registry cleanings a key value was deleted. I remember reading some tech article about needing to reregister one of the XP programs. If so which one? Can any one help?
