I’m having trouble getting a new computer on my network. I’m replacing a old computer with a new one and I can’t get the new computer to see the DHCP server. I’m running a Windows NT 4.0 network with Win 98 clients. If I plug the new machine in to the network I get redirector errors on my PDC(which is not my DHCP Server)and my network slows down. When I plug the old machine in everything goes back to normal. I have tried the nic card from the new machine in the old machine and it works fine. Please help if anyone has any ideas.
