Can’t install Office 2k Sr1a update

I had to uninstall and reinstall Office 2k on a Win2k SP2 computer. When I go to the Office update site, I download the o2ksr1a.exe update to the desktop. Then I close out of everything and double click on the update file. After 1 sec of the hourglass, nothing else happens. I’ve gone into my task manager at this point and see that setup.exe, o2ksr1a.exe, and sometimes msiexec.exe are in the list but aren’t active.

I have also tried downloading the entire Admin update, but it behaves the sameway.

Please Help!
