When I try Microsoft Office Standard 2003 says a dialog box is open and needs to be closed. To do this Microsoft wants the serial number from the disc or case to fill 5 boxes. I bought the computer one to two years ago, I’m not sure whether I downloaded this 60 day trial Icon on my desktop or if it came with the computer but I have no idea where to find that number. Office Depot said to buy a new Microsoft Home & Student 2007 because they don’t have a 2003. I don’t have $120. for the new software just now. They told me I could circumvent by going to Programs and get a word processor, but that also is a Microsoft operation and they still want their Serial number. Any Ideas warmly welcomed.
