CCNA Practice Exams

By jamwe ·
I am currently taking classes towards an associates degree at a local Technical college. Right now I am in the third out of four classes in the CCNA track. After I finish the fourth class I want to get my CCNA certification. But I don't want to go in without going through some practice exams.

I know that I can go to goggle and search for "CCNA Practice Exams" and get 3,000,000 hits. However, I would like to use practice exams that have proven themselves to be accurate.

So if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

When I went to the Cisco networking academy, I prepared for the exam by reviewing the material from semesters 1-4 and spent as much time as possible reviewing the lab exercises in the lab. Use and re-use the router simulator, too. Honestly, the lab time helped me understand things more than anything else, and I felt very prepared by the end of the fourth semester. Also... Cisco Press has some good study materials for review that I found helpful. Most of the people I knew who went through all four semesters and took it seriously (doing as much hands-on time as possible) did very well.

Personally, I wouldn't get too hung up on practice exams. In my experience, understanding the concepts and being able apply them was the key part to getting through it.

Excellent CCNA Practice Exams

I highly recommend "CCNA CertSim" by Todd Lammle. I recently took the 640-801 test and scored 100% correct after studying both the Cybex CCNA Study Guide and using CertSim. You can get more information on CertSim by going to
