It really depends on several factors - geographical location, job description (duties), etc.

CCIE (with no other cert's) should get $65000 to $85000 annual

CCNP I'm not sure... I would guess about $15000 less than CCIE

A CCIE making less than 6 figures is UNDERPAID.

CCNP - unfortunately most people don't know what this cert really is... ALL CCNP's are underpaid in my opinion, but US companies tend to try to offer them anywhere from 60k to 85k annually. High 80's is probably reasonable.

These people make alot more when they contract. Those that realize they will NEVER be out of work stay in the contract arena and make from $75 to $125 per hour - and they stay busy all year long. They get the same 2080 hours pay as any full time permanent employee, but they get the much higher rate...

There is less than 20,000 CCIE's WORLD WIDE! Over 70% of networks use Cisco routers. Simple supply and demand here. CCIE getting paid under $100,000, isn't happening.

We pay CCNA's 60k+.

I have been told that CCIE is 100k+.
The issue is always about experience. I have already seen a couple of CCIE's that are not worth even 50k. I would expect that a CCIE has 5+ years of real experience to be worth 100k.
