CD Burning

I downloaded couple of live concert video file from internet. And now i’m try to make it to VCD so i use NERO burning software. What making me confusse are it’ll prompt me a msg about reencoding the video file. Now, even i encode or not encode, i can’t play that VCD on my house AIWA mini hifi. What is the main problem ?
I tried many CDR but still the same.]
Any solution ?
