hi world,
my cd rom was working excellently but stoped when a friend inserted a cd into it. it got missing in my computer, it was also not found in device manager.i checked it out in bios but could not be accesed. i changed the cd rom to another system unit but was working.
how ever, the same problem kept occuring when i changed IDE cables and cd rom into different computers. it is even causing the same problem with hard disks rndering them unbootable.
help me
