Good day everyone, need some assistance here.

I created a solution for my end user to reset their password remotely using RD Web Access on server 2012 R2. Also I’m using IIS 2012 R2 as well so the end users could access the RD Web Access over the internet.

The server could be reached internally but with the site not secured error.

However, I did some configuration for it to be access over the internet.
so what I did, I map the IP of the internal server to one of our ISP IP via the Fortinet firewall using Virtual IPs.

Now the solution is working, However, keep getting site not secured. our end users are uncomfortable with that.

Any thoughts, guidance will be greatly appreciated.

You would research it’s SHA-1 use and other ideas like we read at:

If you are still running SHA-1 and other deprecated security then you can expect this error message from today’s browsers. This is not a bug. It’s expected behavior. Yes there are folk and companies that want to keep running the old systems and as you can tell, there will be issues.

You have to look into SHA-1 key and research on it to make this issue clear
