Change CDROM letter in Win2k Pro

by minhajlk . Updated 24 years, 1 month ago

Hi,

I have a dual boot system Win98 and Win2k Pro (C FAT32 and D NTFS) and CDROM E and Network path F. I created another NFTS partition using Partition Magic 6 and the new partition is E, CDROM F and network path G. I deleted the E partition but the drive letters didn’t revert to it original position. Is it possible to rename CDROM to E again? It so How? Please guide me how to do it.

Thanks and regards,

Minhaj.
