By troy ·
Hi,
I have a very complex excel workbook and I need to create a user friendly front page with check boxes.
the output value is true or false where the rest of my workbook use 1 or 0
is there a way to change the output?

Add vb code ....

by jpp412 In reply to Change Check Box Value in ...

in Design mode right click on the checkbox and select view code.

Add the vb code similar to the following:
[Pre]
if (<checkboxname>.value) then
Range("<cell you want to effect").value = 1
else
Range("<cell you want to effect").value = 0
endif
[/Pre]
where <checkboxname> is the name of your checkbox and <cell you want to effect> is "A1" or whatever cell reference as a string.
