You can use thirdparty tools such as yaytext, linojam etc to styles for fonts in whatsapp chat. I personally use unitextify.

In WhatsApp, you can use different font styles with simple formatting tricks:

Bold: *text* → text
Italic: _text_ → text
Strikethrough: ~text~ → text
Monospace: text → text
