You can put a shortcut to a specific folder in the SendTo directory. It will then show up on the Context menu.
Right click the file and choose the shortcut then Move it by holding down the Shift key.

The Sendto directory is located C:\WINDOWS\SendTo you'll need to show your hidden files folders. Select tools + folder options + view & check the box show hidden files & folders.

Does it move when you hold down the SHIFT key while clicking on the shortcut?

What is your operating system? Have you had any problems with drag and drop?
On every machine I have tried holding down the SHIFT key will move the file when I use the context menu.
What hapens when you drag the file when holding the SHIFT key down.
What happens when you drag using the Right mouse button. Do you see the Copy/Move options?

That is not what I want to know, I know how to drag and drop, what I want is to use the send to on the right click to move not copy a file to my customized send to locations and I am using xp pro.

Send to only copies the file as you see.
In Windows ME they had a move to folder under windows exploer but i am sure they have done away with that.
If your good with making batch (dos) programs you could but the shortcut to your program in the send to. Other than that do it the old fashion way.

I could do that but there has to be a way to modify the send to action, what is it?
