I inherited a Windows domain that was implemented by a non-Windows administrator. He made the Forest root UT.DOMAIN.COM. I have never had to change a forest name before. Can the Root Forest name be changes from above to DOMAIN.COM using the rename procedure or will I have to use ADMT and move the UT.DOMAIN.COM domain to DOMAIN.COM?
