Changing cell fill color in a ppt table

By eansong ·
I am trying to conditionally change the color of a cell in a native power point table by assigning RGB value to the .cell(r,j).shape.fill.backcolor.RGB. I can't get the color to change (office 2003), what am I doing wrong?

go to the cell and right click. then go to borders and fill. click on the fill tab at the top. Click fill and when the color shows in the bar with a drop down menu beside it, click the drop down menu. Go to more colors and then to custom. Change the RGB to whatever you want.

Thanks, I figured out what I was doing wrong - after assigning the RGB value, I had to set .Fill.Visible = true - this gave me what I was looking for.
