Changing the way a page is Viewed.

By jsnowbunny100 ·
I am using XP Pro. It has MANY defaults that I do not like. When I open folders, files, etc the page is ALWAYS set to the Tiles View, no matter how many times I change it.

I would like it to always be set to Icons View without having to change it ALL the time.

How do I change this so it will permanently be set to "Icons" when I open a page.

Thanks

Open a folder with the view you want all to be set to. Go to "Tools" then to "Folder Options". Then select the "View" tab. On this page you will see the button "Apply to all folders", click this button and you'll be all set.
