Chkdsk Win XP status

How do we get to view the status report after chkdsk has completed its scan and repairs? I restart as necessary to get chkdsk running. I left it as it takes a while. When I returned, it has completed and restarted without any screen of the results. Appreciate your assiatance. thankyou, Baffled
