Citrix, application does not launch

We have a 5 client license for Citrix Metaframe v1.8 running service pack 3. Clients are connecting through their web browser using ICA client software V6. No recent changes have been made to our Citrix server or network infrastructure but now someclients when they are at the published application page and click on a app. get no response.
Also some clients get an error message saying the Citix server is unavailable when they first log in but a simple reboot of the Citrix server takes care ofthat.
There is nothing in the server?s event log that would indicate a problem. I have had users uninstall the ICA client software, which includes deleting the Citrix folder and reinstall the latest version to no avail, also have upgraded there IEto IE6. No go so far. I have had users log on with the account of a user who is able to connect and still no joy. The users swear they have not made any changes to there computers other than the upgrade of Internet Explorer.
Any help would be muchappreciated.

Are the IE settings on the working computer and the ones failing the same?
Are http 1.1 settings both checked?
Under security are all Fortezza, PCT, SSL, and TLS checked (only need SSL 2.0 but others don't hurt)? Citrix is basically an encrypted connection.

Thank you for your help.
I have decided to stop using the ICA web client to connect. There are to many vairiables that can go wrong.
